i was in a bookstore the other day and i picked up a book on 'philosophical ethics explained through science fiction films'. Star Wars was used to explain good vs evil, and the author was quick to criticise george lucas for making the distinction blatantly clear. he qualified this comment, however, with something to the effect that at least, this distinction allowed for Leia to be chained up practically naked, to Jaba the Hutt.
